Discussion > My Build of the Gorre Water Tank

It seems like this is a good place to post a link to pics of my build of the Gorre water tank.

You did a really great job on this, Dan.
I really like the cigarette paper poster technique.
How did you put the Gorre and Daphetid logo on the side and then weather it?
Thanks for posting.
Clark

A beautiful build Dan, Id love to know more about your techniques, especially how you added the GD logo

I opened up the PDF file in The GIMP, dropped the logo on as a new layer and then lowered the opacity of the layer.

Just last week I did the exact same thing to the water tower on Rudy's! I"d like to think that great minds think alike! This technique works well for a number of different applications. I've often use it for toning down graffiti that I add to bulidings.

Hi guys, totally unrelated, but could you tell me the dimensions of Rudy printing co.?
It was not in the “footprints” section, and I need to know how big it is so that I can size a dock to fit under it.
Thanks,
Clark.
