COAL DEALER NOW AVAILABLE

I just added the Coal Dealer to the MODELS Page for download in O and HO scales.  I’m working on the S & N versions and hope to have them soon.

Finally managed to get the N scale version of the kit put up.  If you purchase this kit, you will notice that there are some caveats on the sheets.  I just want you to know that it is extremely difficult to build the Coal Loader, which is included, in N scale.  The parts are just too darn small for normal human fingers.  Now you aliens out there, or some of our builders, who use nothing but tweezers, is a whole nother story.  Good luck.

Didn't plan on it, BUT!!! another FREEBIE.

I really didn’t plan on another rolling stock download, but I wanted to gauge how much interest there would be for individual downloadable files of rolling stock.  This flatcar is pretty much the basis for all of our cars.  It’s incorporated, in one form or another, in out tank car, hopper cars, gons and boxcars.  As with all our cars, in HO it uses re-gauged Blackstone trucks or in O a modified Bachman chassis.  If I can find the reference, earlier in the blog, I’ll point you to a Shapeways frame for the HOn30 version.  If we do bring these out as individual downloads, I’m thinking of about $3.00 each.  What do you think?

An online magazine format page I recomend. In the next couple of weeks I will be completing a tutorial on building our kits. It will feature “General wire and rope” It’s a small but fun kit that I created specially for the shortline modelers site and will only be available as a O scale download from them.
