This is a fairly small structure that you could use for many different industries.
You could fill the tanks with anything from water to pickles.
This is just a bit above a beginner kit, but by no means difficult. It can be built in a weekend.

This kit is typical of what you can find just about everywhere.
It is based on many of the buildings found in all Midwest Steel Mills.
It is a relatively small building, by steel mill standards, but is easily expanded to almost any size.
It is a very good choice for a first build and will teach all of the skills needed to become a proficient paper modeler.

is a restored grist mill located in Hobart, Indiana.
This model comes with the waterwheel and flume and requires about 16” by 16” of layout space in O scale.
This is not a difficult kit, but it is very detailed.
It will probably take the average modeler a month of evenings to complete.

Another false front style building that goes so well in any kind of scene.
Obviously from the 1800’s, buildings like this still are in use today all over America.
Simple but very satisfying build. Main building is 22’-6” x 17’-0”.
With the Boardwalks, Loading Dock and Side Entrance, as shown, the real estate required is 31’-6” x 31’-6”.
All of those items can be located wherever or not used. Very Versatile.
Even the stone foundation is optional. Height with foundation is 22’-9”.
