You may have seen this some time ago -- it's not a new blog site -- but I just realized that the German blog could be translated into English. Lo and behold, Thom and Dave translate into "smart girls"!! I had to laugh. But, it might be worth checking out:

Thank you for pointing at my blog. Many of the topics
maybe of interest for the anglo-american part of the
world, even if the google translation service sometimes
isn´t sharp at the original. If I had to post everything
in english, the chance would be big, that my english
is not better than the google machine!!!
