Discussion > Clyde Puffer

Just wondering. I'm using the hull of the Clyde Puffer to try and build a small tow/tug boat. I noticed that the upper hull sides don't match. That is - there is a printed rub strip on both sides of the hull . It is to the top on the port side of the hull and down towards the waterline on the starboard side. Was this intentional? I know there are cut out rub rails to be applied but before I do I was just curious?

Weston, you are right. When I built it I ignored the mis-matched printed rub rails and glued
the cut out ones in the lower position. Thought they looked best there but not sure what is
correct. Mentioned it to Thom and he said he would fix it but probably has not had time.
