Discussion > Thank You

1st I would like to thank you for posting Muchies I think what Bob did with his model is fantastic and that brings me to a question The lack of front upstairs windows is something I would like to see changed perhaps you could do an optional store front with upstairs windows and maybe an awning I think this would be a great option and give the model more sales appeal

Well, your welcome Paul. Thank you for your comments over the years. Obviously, looking at Robert's version of Muchie's shows how good the building looks with windows in the front. Maybe I should have provided some, but as is demonstrated by Robert's build, one of, if not the main ideals of the Clever Models philosophy has been the idea that the modeler should make the model HIS/HER OWN. We have many customers that build only what is in the kit and that's OK. But we have always chosen to provide the framework on which others create masterpieces. Just go back through the archives of this blog. There are dozens and dozens of unique creations. If I were much smarter, I probably might have envisioned all of them. But I would much rather be thrilled when I see someone else do it. I know you have that creativity in you. Obviously, you just pointed it out. I know that you have a pretty good supply of parts from all the kits you have purchased over the years. I challenge you to take Moochie's, or any other model and make it into a masterpiece. Keep up the good work Paul.

Well, after reading Paul's post and then replying, I thought I was done with this thread, but something was nagging at me. Go to the BLOG page to see what it was. Paul's observations are EXACTLY CORRECT. Moochie's does look great with windows and awnings.
