Discussion > Looking online at laser kits...

I'm at a temp assignment with a lot of free time, so I'm just poking around online, looking at laser structure kits for ideas. I found an enclosed hexagonal water tank with a MSRP of almost $70, which is about 10x the price of your nearly-identical HO kit. Side-by-side, I'll bet you could tell them apart, but put them on two different spots on the same layout, and nobody would notice.

That's all; just wanted to thank you for keeping this hobby affordable.

Thanks for the compliment. We wish more people would understand that quality doesn't always mean high cost. I understand why wood kits are expensive. For all the effort to produce a kit you can only make a limited number of them. Because we side step that method of production , we can make an infinite number of kits available and thus a lower price. High quality results,. Low cost. Kind of a no brainer.
