Discussion > The real Woods mill kit

Just got to see the finished kit very excited. With the waterwheel and the flume finished, it's unbelievably impressive. We will be showing this at TrainFest and I'm excited to see what people think.

Working on the instructions and a seniced base for the display. It will be available at Trainfest for the SHOW SPECIAL price of $24.95. The regular price will be $29.95. I know that this is relatively expensive, but trust me, it IS worth it. This is a huge kit for paper. If built with all the additions, it takes up the better part of 16" by 16" in O scale. Thom sold the preliminary, flat bottom kit without waterwheel & flume for $12.00 and 14 of you bought it. The finished version is a much better kit and is very versatile. As you may remember, we said that the kit is designed to be built into the side of a hill and it is. BUT, the parts for the flat bottom version will be included in this release. Also the Smokestack will be able to be built attached to the Smithy Building wall or as an independent item. (The taper disappears where it meats the building wall.) It is also much taller and has more detail. The Smithy building can also be built as a free standing structure, with or without the stack. We thought of selling the waterwheel and the flume as separate kits and we still might. They would each be at least $6.95. I really hope you all will like the finished version as it has been over 2 years in the making.

OH, by the way, it is 40 days until Trainfest and we still don't know where our booth will be located. We will let you know as soon as we find out.
