It's an honor. Once again I've been asked to create a kit to be published in the On30 Annual published by White river publishing. Space available is very restricted. It's always a challenge. Any ideas on what you would like to see?
Congratulations! I'm always in favor of small buildings that might be found in a mining community or along the railroad out here in the desert in the Sierras. Bath house, barber shop, bank, dentist, assaying office, smithy, things like that.
Maybe a small backwoods coaling facility, suitable for narrow gauge steamers. On a larger sense, I would like to see an early wood-frame sawmill (perhaps low relief)
I thought a dynamite shed could fit on 2 pages. I googled a little bit and found them made from wood, concrete, stone and brick. 1 door and no windows. Simple. You already have plenty of textures that would work, add some signage and presto. These could be used in logging areas, mining operations or even behind old time hardware stores.
I like the idea of a dynamite shed but not for the magazine. I think ill do a freebie of that. I like the gas station too. I wonder if I could make that fit.
The only objection to the dynamite or sand house is the absence of windows.Prospective customers should get a rather simple structure but with most components that would be used on a more complex model .
How about a small shed - with a number of uses. like for a narrow gauge loco, storage shed (add doors) etc. This may have a wide appeal to readers and also find over a wider time period?,
