Looking for Clever Models to add awnings and canopies in HO scale for DPM buildings and other manufacturer structures!

That is a really great idea and one we have wanted to do for a long time. The only issue is that we would have to buy all of the kits and we are not in a financial position to do that. We have previously asked if others would donate the kits they wanted awnings for (We planned to return them when we were done with them.) and got no takers. That offer still stands.

DPM has a cheat-sheet with actual-size images of all their modular components. I'll see if I can dig mine out, and I'll send it to you.

Thanks Dan. That would go a long way toward making awnings happen.

I usually make my own. Just Google " Awning Material" or "striped fabric" Download to computer & print to desired size. Cut & fold to desired shape.

The DPM link is for the modular kits only, so it may not help with their regular series kits. However, instead of sending kits to you wouldn't all you need is the dimension of the kit? Seems to me that would work. Of course another option is for Clever to make several awnings and we adjust the size ourselves as needed.
Another series of kits that really need awnings are the City Classics line. I think all are the same width and Clever could easily make some canopies of that size. Let me know and I can provide the widths.
