Howdy everyone!

Since selling my HO scale layout that was 99% Clevermodels kits/textures, I've started building an O scale layout which will be mostly Clevermodels kits as well.

I've gotten one particular building to the almost complete stage, so I thought I'd share the photos with you here.

The building is a kitbashed version of the brick mercantile building. I've changed it from the wedge shape it comes as into a more rectangular structure by adding a new rear wall using textures from the Brick Powerhouse kit. The huge blue doors in the rear of the building will eventually get some trim to better show what they are, as well as a large (working) gantry crane protruding from the back and across the large wooden loading dock shown in the last photo.

When in position on the layout, the building has full internal lighting, and will have detail pieces and figures added when I can find suitable parts at train shows!

Wow Dan, thats a very interesting build.I totally approve of how you used these parts to create something completely new. I,d love to see it in place on your layout. Hope you will send more pix/

These are the only photos I have of it in place on the layout. The layout is still work in progress, so they aren't the best images, but it should give an idea of how it fits in.

You might notice a few more of your kits as the origins of some of the other structures in the photograph. :)
