Discussion > This might fix the posting problem (for a while).
Hi Friends. As most of you have figured out, there has been a problem with "CAPTCHA" verification not letting anyone make posts. So first an explanation and then a temporary solution. The makers of CAPTCHA have released version 2 of their software & disabled version 1. SquareSpace, the people who host this website have also migrated (a long time ago) to version 7 of their software. This website was built with version 5 of SquareSpace. SquareSpace no longer supports version 5. Migrating this website to version 7 is NOT something I want to tackle. (I probably won't live long enough to do it even if I wanted to.) They say it is REALLY EASY. No it is not. Since Squarespace is no longer supporting version 5, they have refused my requests to upgrade to Captcha version 2. (They do use version 2 with version 7 of Squarespace.) (Have I confused you yet?) So, my temporary solution is to turn off the requirement to verify that you are not a robot, on this page. This will probably work OK, for a while, until the robots realize that playing with trains is really cool and start making posts themselves. We will see how it goes.
