New Freebie Posted

Hello everyone.  In honor of Thanksgiving, Thom’s 65th. birthday and our 15th. anniversary, there is a new freebie available.  It is a very small and simple white corrugated steel shed.  It’s only 12’ x 12’ and very simple to put together.  Probably only take a couple of hours.  I know it’s not much, but it is free.  I have reset the magic number to 0, but this time we are going to count to 300 before a new freebie comes out.  After looking at the financials, this makes better business sense as well as giving me more time to develop kits.  I was inspired to do this kit by a bunch of these buildings that are scattered all over the steel mill, where I work.  They are used for everything from storage to small pump houses and everything in between.  I hope to have a few pictures of the real thing up soon, but right now they refuse to come out of my phone.

Here is the one picture I was able to get off my phone. Actually, it is the best. Just as a piece of information, the blue building to the left is a rotary coal dump. The door you are looking at is the exit end. Every 24 hours, we empty about 220, 120 Ton hoppers. It’s 1 of 2 in the plant. Man, I wish I could landscape like this!

Final update on Rick's Pickles (I hope)

As of about Tuesday of this past week, all should be well with Rick’s.  I hope you have all read the previous posts to know what happened, but if you didn’t, here’s a short synopsis.

Released the kit.  Had a duplicate page in the Brining Shed folder and missed one that should have been there.

Fixed the kit download files, put missing page in FREEBIES, sent missing page to all that bought.

So, IF YOU DIDN’T GET THE MISSING PAGE and YOU THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE,  download it from FREEBIES or email me and I’ll send it to you.

SORRY! Big OOPS on Rick's Pickles.

Hi everyone.  I made a BIG mistake when I posted Rick’s Pickles.  (I should NEVER rush.)  I accidentally released the same page for the office deck twice, as pages 2 and 3 and didn’t include the top surface of the deck.  I will be fixing the kit shortly (tomorrow) and posting the missing page in the FREEBIES section, so you can all download it.  SORRY!!!

FREEBIES update

As you all know I suspended making FREEBIES available to give myself some layout building time.  Well, while I didn’t get as far as I wanted, I did get some walls up and insulated.  Moved around some lighting and have begun extending the benchwork around two more walls.  I have the old Clever Models switching modules supported against one wall and can run trains.

SO, I guess I’m far enough along where I can start producing freebies again.  Look for them to begin before Christmas.  I know that’s later than I said, but you have gotten 3 new kits recently.
