To celebrate the “end” of the Myan calender, today (12/20) and tomorrow (12/21), Download any two (2) kits (sorry, no textures) from this website and receive one (1) kit of lesser or equal value to the sum of both kits regular price, FREE.

IMPORTANT

After purchasing your two kits, you will need to send us an email (use the CONTACT page) to tell us which kit you want for free.  If we are all still here after the 21st., your free download (no pre-printed allowed) will magically appear in you mailbox.  Be sure to include the scale, and part number (or a real good description) of the kit you want, in your email.  It would be a good idea to include your name and phone number, just in case there is a problem with email.  (Sometimes filtering software interferes with downloads.)

UPCOMING SHOW

Hi all.  Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be at the AMHERST RAILWAY SOCIETY, RAILROAD HOBBY SHOW on Saturday, January 26th. from 9AM to 5PM and on Sunday January 27th. from 10AM to 5PM.

It is at the EASTERN STATES EXPOSITION (The Big E) 340 Memorial Ave, West Springfield MA, 01089.  The show is $10.00 per day plus $5.00 per day parking.  Their website, for more information is www.railroadhobbyshow.com.

This is our biggest show of the year and one where we usually introduce new models.  We will have our HOn30 layout there agin.  I can’t yet tell you where we will be located as they are currently asigining display areas.  There are 5 huge buildings with just about anything you could possibly imaging available for the model train enthusiast.

We will post updates as we get more information.  You really need to be there.

Issue concerning White Castles

Hi everyone.  We’ve been made aware that there are some problems with the White Castles kit, (Both Brick & Steel versions) that has been available for download and on the 1st. Street DVD.  The walls and roof just don’t match up.  We try very hard to present a quality product, but even with all our checks, we sometimes mess up.  So we have revised the model and made sure things fit like they are supposed to.  We have placed the various versions of the kit in the FREEBIES section and it will remain there for about 3 weeks.  After that, we will still have it vailable for folks that ask.  The download and DVD files have been corrected.  All of the files and sheets should indicate that they are “revised”.  Sorry for the problem.
