Future free downloads

Well, our experience running the free download kit contest has been eye opening to say the least. I can only say that it felt good to offer a great and unique model to all of the visitors to this web site. My brother and I are evaluating the data we were able to gather so we can make this page more useful to the modeling community. It’s obvious that free downloads will be a regular feature. we will also run additional contests from time to time, perhaps a couple a year. We may also experiment with payed instant downloads. We are still exploring what the best delivery system is for our product.

I’m trying to decide what the next free model will be. As before it will only be available for a couple of weeks, however we will not retire it as we did the tool shed. It will find a place in a future collection, probably in the extras folder that is found on every disk.

On a side note we are trying to make an effort to be involved in more shows. As noted previously Inde was great. I don’t think we can get into Trainfest as they seem to be booked solid but we will be there likely selling disks from under our coats.

See you on down the line.

Thom

I'am new to your site... newbie to paper models ...... seen a site on google, that gave your link along with scalescenes for FREE download. scalescenes has 2 FREE downloads..... as advertised on the web...... you don't....... your hurting yourself here ! I downloaded and built from scalescenes..... and I was able to see in the real, if what they had was worth it...... well it was and I purchased from them. NOW you guy's have the HOT STUFF....... but how do I know, what I can expect when I give you $39.95 for a CD ? Now if I had a download, I could see in real time, what you guy's are really dishing out...................... Have 4 FREE downloads 24/7 1. brick&motar 1. neighborhood 1. wood industrial 1. steel industrial. NOW you have 2 more FREE downloads, over your competition, and if a modler is looking to build a brick structure well there's the FREE sample......... Neighborhood, well there's the FREE sample. etc....etc.... A.T.G Cleve, Oh.

A.T.C. thanks for the comments. Our download strategy is a bit different. we are sorry you missed the first offering, a limited edition tool shed. We up load kits to our blog page approximately every other month. they are only available for a couple of weeks and then taken down. We feel that having high quality kits available all of the time will eventually erode demand. Our next free kit should be posting in the next 2 weeks and will be available for 3 weeks. we may expand this as the web traffic seems to indicate a great increase in traffic.
Please do let us know what type of models you would like to see offered. Right now we are thinking of offering the narrow gage Monson snow plow but it's not final.
thanks again
Thom
