The first contest entry (not what I expected!!!) Love this hobby

Ok, heres the first return  John Fleming,  sent this V scale build. I’m always saying I want our kits to inspire creative uses of our materials. here’s an extreme example.

Nice layout too.

Thom, That layout looks like it might be a "virtual" layout or else the pixels make it look so. What do you think?

Bobby, you are right, it is a virtual layout. Runs form London Ontario to Port Stanley 24 miles south. The London & Port Stanley Railroad was built by a fellow in London and he shared it with the world. The era is 1927 complete with the weather conditions for each day in that year. He incorporated sounds into the route i.e. birds, dogs barking, sea gulls, crickets cattle moo-ing etc. It comes with a neat little program that generates work orders, no two are ever the same. I've worked hundreds of orders and still am surprised by the variety. John
