Upcoming Show Schedule

Currently we are hectically preparing for a trip to the 30th. Annual Narrow Gauge Convention in St. Louis from September 1st. to 4th.

We will be displaying our HOn30 Layout which has a nice selection of our structures on it and also has trains running on it that are all made from cardstock.  We will also be debuting a new DVD which will contain all the rolling stock kits that you will see running.  (And maybe some that will be a suprise.)

We will be located at table 315, on the far right side of the room, across the aisle from Precision Scale.  To see a map of the convention hall, goto http://www.30ngconvention.org/.  Click on the “Convention Updates” box and then “Manufacturers Floor Plan”.

We hope to have the opportunity to see many of our old friends and make many new ones.

Hi,

I am really glad to see this announcement. Can you list the different models and a bit of detail for what will be on this CD?

Thanks.

I'll give you a hint Bill. If you go back in the Blog to around page 13, (I think) you will see a few of the items lurking in the layout video. (Look close, some are on sidings.) Since we are showing the disc, for the first time at the show, that's about all I'm willing to divulge. (For now.) I will tell you that the disc we are releasing has both On30 & HOn30 on it.

Bill, I just put the disk to bed. Here's what's on it.
Two folders rolling stock and critters.
In rolling stock, there are files in HOn30 and On30. There is one extra which is the "Dinky" in 1/24th and a couple of random standard gauge versions.
Box cars, 20' wood with and without markings. Some with outside braces, 4 variations in the graphics, with interiors.
One, 20' wood stock car with and without markings, with interior.
One, 20' steel boxcar.
One, 22' wood flatcar.
One, 22' wood side gondola.
One, 22' steel hopper in two colors
One, 20' tank car in two colors.
One, "bobber" caboose, with interior
The Monson snowplow.

In critters
The box cab no markings.
The steeple cab, several variations with and without markings and weathering. GE 17 ton prototypes.
A gas critter in green and yellow, 2 critters. Freelanced from lots of sources on the interweb.
"Dinky", a small salmon colored Brookville.
"Tiny", a small blue green, freelanced, mashup, based on a photo from the interweb.

That's about 14 pieces of rolling stock and 6 critters. In 2 scales.
As a bonus, I'm throwing in a critter shed.

Since we have always planned to present this collection, for the first time, at the Narrow Gauge National this year, you will be able to get one there. We will begin shipping orders as soon as we get home on the 5th of September. The price will be $29.95, BUT, if you reserve one before the show, when we start shipping, we will let you have one for the show price of $25.00, plus shipping. ($6.00 in the US, higher elsewhere.) Those who reserve, will be instructed how they can pay via email.

No Problem guys. Consider your discs reserved. If you want, you can send $25.00 via Pay Pal to mize1@sbcglobal.net. But I will not be shipping till after the show, so don't rush it if you don't want to. You are locked in at the show price.
