Just opened my bonus kit, Central Camera looks really good. I look forward to starting my build today and can hardly wait until First Street arrives.

I have to raz Thom. He has been promising to get a camera for some time now! :) The Central camera joke is too good to pass up!

Central camera is pretty streight forward but the facade and the entrance display area is going to be a challenge. i had planned on trying to do something with the window display but didn't want to hold up getting the kit out just for that. if I can come up with miniature posters and cameras I'll post them at a later date.

Gee Guys,

This is my first time back on line in 2 weeks or so. Computer crash. Most files lost in my Clever folder.

As of today I have not recieved my bonus CD. Did you fellows for get me.............again?????

I do have all previous DVD's so I will be able to restore those files, however I have lost all "freebies" over the past few years. Is there anyway I can recover these files?

John, that stinks, i hate computers. if you can give me an idea of what your missing i can see if we can replace them. might take some time theres a lot of files involved.

As of this evening I have not received the bonus model CD. Funny, I belive that I was the very first to place an order for the !st street DVD. I even sent the Paypal confirmation to Dave.

As to the lost freebies I really don't know the names of each. However I can make up a list of the models that I downloaded that were paymodels. Give me a couple of days to put list together.

Yeah, I hate computers also. I thought that I was covered do to the fact I had a auto back-up drive on my system. On most of my files I was able to recover from the the external drive. From my Clever folder all dissapeared except two models. Go figure that one out. I also lost countless photos from a cross country trip. Again, very strange, the folder was there but all the photos inside the folder were gone.

I have taken the old hard drive to a computer service company to see if they can recover any data.

John, This most strange. I know I sent your bonus kit. I'll send it again in a few min. as for the missing buildings I can think of three The yard shed, The crossing tower, the whistle stop and the snowplow. The crossing tower is back up right now. Ill send the others. tomorrow.(or today but in the morning)

The computer folks called me this evening and said "We can salvage 70 to 80% of the data on your hard drive." Monday I will see what the have.

Well, some good news. Almost all my Clever downloads were recovered. The ones that are missing are Habbaker’s and the Shed. These two were in fact the last two downloads. Any help in replacing these models would be appriciated.

My cost to get files restored was $200.00. Not bad consididering. Bear in mind many other files were also restored. Litterly, thousands of photos and othe documents.
