A bit buried

Not just by snow.  Just making sure that all the I’s are dotted and the T’s crossed.

I was just about to send out the bonus kit when I thought I might make one little addition.  It will be on it’s way.  The O scale kit is about 10 pages.  I’m wondering if it needs some special instructions for the front display window.  Think I’ll send it out and then do the directions and post them here.

Thom,

For the experienced card stock modelers, like maybe Ben Streeter or Jim Gore, I would think they would just need the building pieces, but for a novice like me, and other beginners, the more directions or completed kit detail sections pics, the better. Personally when I did Plant #2, I had a heck of a time with the building top / roof line and didn't add enough stiffeners. The first go round was really awful, to the point where I basically started over. Granted, that the beauty of your download method is that you can easily printout another sheet when you mess up (I have done that more times than I would like to admit), but then again with more instructions; forewarned is forearmed.

Thanks,

David, we are trying to add more instructive information on all our newer kits. Plant #2 is one of the very original designs and suffers from our lack of experience. The flat roof (and flat roofs in general) are difficult to fit sometimes. We keep changing how they are done and i think all of the newer kits, the ones put out in the last year or so are much better.
We appreciate your comments.
