More on Harvey's

Hi everyone.  There is still a lot to do on this model.  All the trim pieces need to be added as does a chimney and of course the hanging sign that goes between the windows.

Actually this isn’t the best of kits.  I’m discovering lots of ways to make it much better and more complete.  We will probably do an update in the fairly near future as a free download.

I know you can’t see it really well, but the interior is made of photographs of my local hobby shop.  Unfortunately, the real Harvey’s is not currently open.

That really looks great ! You gave me an "aha" moment. I was trying to fiugre out the false front folds and am gratified to know that I guessed correctly. I had the same idea you did to make a rain deflector but mine will be of sheet metal. I am westernizing mine a bit. Should be ready in about a week or so ... my town of Mesita desperately needs a hobby shop. This one is perfect. Reminds me a litle of the hobby shop in my home town in New Mexico ... which was also a camera and television repair place ... and a gas station .... and a general store.

Jim, Funny that you mention TV repair. This shop in Harvey IL also sold TV's and musical instruments.
