Something new in FREEBIES

Had a couple of calls recently, wanting to know if we were ever going to make the rolling stock available as individual downloads.  I said something like “You never know, but we had no immediate plans to do so.”

So I thought I’d put up a freebie to see if anyone was interested.  The Hon30 version works well with regauged Blackstone trucks.  The On30 version can be mounted on a (very) modified Bachman frame.  HOn30 shown with truck mounted KD 1015 couplers.

Still hoping for redraws in HO scale. I have converted a couple of cars (flat car and box car) but I for one would much rather have you fellows do so. Call it a new kit at XX dollars. :)))

Well, I could,t help it. I down loaded the O'scale caboose. Left a little something in the box.

I just want to play around.:))))

I don't know John. We have talked about standard gauge over and over and we just don't think that there is a market we can compete in. Don't give up. Stranger things have happened.

As I mentioned in another thread. If some one has a specific car, perhaps some thing rare and unusual. I might take on the challenge.

Thanks guys for doing this. I have wanted to play around with cardstock rolling stock in On30, but hesitated to buy the disk in case I did not like the results. This gives me the chance to try before I buy with no downside risk, great marketing!

Hi,

I bought the CD for the Train Cars when it came. I have had a lot of fun building most of the ones in HOn30 and the small Steeple Cab in several different scales to include a few "kit-bashed" into different Traction Engines and Box Cabs.

As for new cars how about a Refrigerator Car from a bunch of different Beer Companies, Meat Packing Companies or other Funny or Strange Food Stuffs, Real or Fictional Brands? The variety for something like this seems about endless.

Would love to see a couple of 4 wheel trolleys/streetcars that I could convert to Nm3 using a customised Z chassis.
