The immediate future

Theres a lot hanging in the wings. a bunch of kits so close to being done, I don’t have any real reason to not finish them in the next couple of days. Also it’s about time for a couple of freebies. I had one ready around the holidays but was talked into holding it back due to subject matter. Its a retrofit adult book store intended to be used with the qounset hut. It will be up shortly. It’s mostly signage but it’s fun. I saw this in Cleveland.

Also coming next week the burgerstand and the Union hotel.

I had promissed Chama by Springfield, Obviously I missed it. I just can’t justify releasing what is obviously a major model untill it’s bulletproof. its very close but I want to get several other kits out first.

Thom (and all), I've been fiddling with some of the parts of Chama. I think it will be a great kit!

Hi Thom,

now you have to check the age of your customers for this kit (!?). Great idea. In Germany you´ll find this kind of business normally near the passenger depots (in the past). Nowadays they have been forced to the outskirts of town. Only the second time I see this in scale - first one was the well known Bordello from Thomas Yorke.

Another idea for the hut maybe the same wooden front with bigger sliding doors to be used with some small planes - give it a scale of 1:72 and you may have some new customers from the bunch of airplane lovers. Should be a nice diorama with an old biplane. Barnstormers of the golden age of flying.

Peter, there are some pix in older blog posts of a great hanger build. I'll post its location at some point.
The combo adult book store and quonset hut was something I saw wile in an industrial corridor in Cleveland, Ohio and near the airport.
