Wright's general repair build by Jim Gore
Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 12:18PM
As usual Jim Does a great job of taking a former “Freebie” (its now part of the “More wood” disk) and making it something special. The interior is a great example of Jims halmark story telling.
He added lumber framing and some great castings. The attention to detail like the wood shavings on the floor and the sharp clean build are typical of Jim’s work.

exeptionally well done job on this fine model. I have nearly finished my version, but have no idea yet, what to drop into the house. I have build it in another version as S.A.Maxwell. It is really an eyecatcher - thanks to the designer.
I will do a building report soon at my blog.
Best wishes from cold and snowy northern Germany

Although I have mostly been using LEDs to light the interiors, I had an old GRS Micro-Fluour light that gives a yellower interior light. I can't remember where the figures came from [I grabbed a couple from my "figures" box] but I think that they came from Buffalo Landing [wonderful figures but tough to find; i pick up as many as possible when they are at the Narrow Gauge conventions]. The machinery I got on eBay from a dealer in Oklahoma, I think they are resin castings of old Sierra West machinery.
