Cannery kit bash from Robert Bruce

Wow, Just a fresh viewpoint and a specific need. Bob made changes to represent the time period he models (1880’s) and adjusted the dock narrow gauge height. Add a near perfect quality builld.

The suttle change in angle and height totaly works. Sincerely, I wish I’d thought of that.

No short cuts here. All the windows and doors have received individual attention.

Fantastic build Bob!!! You're tempting me to work in O instead of N; problem is no room for it. How did you lay out the walls for this extensive modifications? Did you cut out everything first then cut to fit or did you draw up a template?

Really nicely done, Bob. It looks like it belongs in the 1880's. Love it!

Great build Bob, did you change the angles to fit a specific location or just to make it unique? Are the siding boards cut & lapped, can't tell from the picture, That is really nice, I'm gonna order one of those kits but your build will be a hard act to follow.

Good stuff right there,
Rick

That is such a unique kit bash. I wish I had the imagination to be able to see the possibilities that you saw. Maybe I'll rebuild and incorporate your great ideas. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Wow, fantastic work from Mr. Bruce and previously from Mr. Moreland . I fully expect to achieve these kinds of results in my second or third building attempt…in my mind.

It’s these kinds of results that encourage me to try to do a better job.

Thank you to all who post images, I will humbly try to add to add a few of my images soon.

Builds like this and others by our users and friends are valuable lessons for those who still regard paper as unsutable construction material. After almost 10 years we still face this short sighted viewpoint.
Confronting those people with such excellence is our best argument for the superiority of card building.

Bob, What I want to know is, do you have a layout? and when can we see pix of that.
