A tradition

It occured to me that modifying our kits has become something of a tradition, so I went back through the archive and revisited some noteworthy early builds.

Very inspirational images here but Bill Laird and Don Spirros are particularly interesting. What was the base kit/model for Don’s model? It’s hard for me to tell from this one picture and could you post more images of his model?

That's one of our older kits the mercantile. Its triangular and very useful as a scene break. fits into switch points and such. Much later we did the same building in brick.
