FINALLY ! The Union Hotel is here.

After two years plus, it’s finally available.  Thank you all for hanging in there with us.  If you have any questions or experience any problems, please let me know.  One more thing, when you go to open the files you are going to find a lot of new and revised information.  Take the time to browse through it.  It will be worth it.

I went to the model gallery only to find that it is blank.

I intend to down load all three versions of the hotel but I would like to take a look before so.

Dave,

I was able to download the 'Union Hotel' this AM. I was a little surprised to see that a zip file was used. I do understand why but I find zip files a pain in the ass to work with.

After downloading I unzipped the files and placed them in my 'Clevers folder' Next I made a DVD of the 'Union Hotel'. I then opened a few of the files to make sure all was OK. And it would appear that the download worked well.

Thank you for doing a splendid job.

To All,

I strongly advise you to look at the photos of the Union hotel. If possible run a slide show and watch several times. The photos will answer many questions you may have.

Looks like a great model.

I was doing a little test printing today with the Union hotel. First I just opened the pdf. And then printed from the pdf using the system printer. The scaling worked just fine however I was a little disappointed in brilliance of color and sharpness of image. But all was most certainly usable.

I then opened PhotoShop and imported the same file. I did not make any adjustments to the image. I went directly to the PhotoShop printer tool. Within the PhotoShop print tool the only change I made was the scaling. I then printed the file. Oh what a difference. The color was more brilliant and the image was indeed sharper.

I am using PhotoShop CS3.

I guess in the future I will print all of my models out of PhotoShop. To be sure it takes more 'clicks' but it is well worth the trouble.
