Printing Bigger rather than Smaller

On our DISCUSSION page a comment was made that if you print our kits in 1:24 scale you will probably loose resolution.  I commented that I have a 1:24 Box Cab on the workbench.  Don’t think resolution is an issue.

Nice set of box cabs. Whatever happened to the Critters and Rolling Stock DVD? I don't see it on the Get DVD's page. I can link to the DVD page using the Search function, but the images are of structures, not Critters, etc.

Thanks,
Rick

The DVD is available. as mentioned we are still trying to make everything available on line but there are only so many hours in the day. We are working on it.
everytime we add an item for sale on the web we need to create new buttons, pictures and other things as well as upload all of the product files to our commerce data base, It takes most of a day to load one item. If theres a better way, Id like to know it.

Hi Thom, I did an indoor display using the quanset hut download, I increased it by 60% and was happy with the results. Those that want to go to 1/29 scale shouldn't be dissapointed with the results. I have done a couple for G scale indoor layouts and was also happy with the resolution. Also, I for one am quite satisfied with whatever business decisions you guys make, we'll adapt. Keep up the good work.

Regards, Rick

Hi Thom, I don't have an issue with the business decision. Just a learning curve however if anyone can give me the percentage for 1:20, I'd like to try it.

Just to answer a few questions;

You can still order the Critters & Carr DVD but you have to use the old "GET DISCS" button. I still have to move it to the new "Buy DVD's" button. It is listed in both the O & HO since the DVD contains both scales.

To Print at 1:20 scale, just divide 48 by 20 to get 2.4 so you print at 240%. Remember, unless you know how to move the printout around the page, YOU WILL RUN OUT OF SPACE. I don't have enough space here to discuss it.
