Update on Carolina Castings. You guys gotta learn to relax.

O.K. Yes I said that C.C. would NOT be produced, you folks have to understand that as a manufacturer, I have to be careful.  And yes I know all about Model Railroaders usual willingness to allow copyrighted material to be manufacturered.  BUT, knowing you guys and how impatient you can be, I felt like I needed to take the chance and dash all your hopes and dreams until I had a signed piece of paper that said it was alright to manufacture.  And I’m sure I will get it, but you know what, it’s May and for the next 4 months our sales are going to be really lousy, so I will take my time, cross my T’s and dot my I’s and then we will probably release the kit.  We’ll see.  I actually haven’t seen it yet.  When I do, I might push it forward.  We’ll see.

Do you plan a special summer sale in june? Would like to buy two collections but i have my own lousy time at the moment.

I really don't know Alex. Last years sale was great, that month, then for the next four months we didn't sell much at all. It worked out to just about even. We could have just worked through the thin summer months and ended up in about the same place. Sales are great for you guys, but in the model railroading hobby, they just don't lead to more sustainable sales.

Dave, the collections are all great. From the 1. street comercial buildings i just need the Habbaker´s and especially the extras. The Rudy and Hoosier i have already purchased as a single download last year. That was the reason to ask for me. But i can understand you.
Maybe a new collection with only signs/sidewalks ... is possible in the future?

I would like to see an offering with more signs also. The corner sidewalk pieces have curbs but the non corner pieces have no curbs and look strange when one tries to make a block long sidewalk. Could we please have some curbs on the long pieces?

About a sale, the thing I don't get is that if you guys break even REGARDLESS of if there's a sale, and if we (the customers) are happier
WITH the sale, why shouldn't there be a sale?
After all, It doesn't seem to affect you whether you have a sale or not.
Remember, "The customer is always right"


(OK, that was a really lousy sales pitch! (no pun intended) Please also exuse my poor writing and unrestrained use of capitalization (<;)
