Found wile on a photo safari

Deep river park, Hobart, In. Wood’s mill. I already have a mill but i cant pass the opportunity.

That's a beauty. Don't know what your other mill looks like but this one
would make a nice model. It has my vote. ( Vote in this case meaning
that yes, I would buy it if you do it!)

For history of the mill google it. Lake County Parks has a nice lot of information and a video.
The brick mill was built in 1876 (on the site of an earlier mill) and was powered by a horizontal
water turbine with a vertical shaft direct to the stones; technically advanced for the period. Then
later the mill was converted to steam power. The wood outside vertical wheel, typical of earlier
mills, was added for artistic reasons during restoration. (Outside wheels would ice up in northern
winters so were often replaced with less picturesque inside wheels) This is a nice brick industrial
building which could be kit bashed into a number of uses with or without water power. Looking
forward to it!
