Come Visit Us at Trainfest November 12th. & 13th.

Greetings all.  Finally got to look at the floor plan for the show and we are on BOOTH 4204.  Next to us on the left is Yard Goat and to the right is Exact Rails.  Across the isle in front of us is Rapido Trains and behind us and a bit to the right is Broadway Ltd.  If you don’t count the large scale railway, we are just about the geographical center of the room.  Come to see what’s new.  Watch our HOn30 layout run and just come and talk PAPER.  Here is a link to the Trainfest website www.trainfest.com if you want to see the whole room.  See you there.

I am very glad to see the blog pages updated Please keep up the good work The only issiue I have is those who visit the page are well aware of paper modeling The one comment I get when I tell people to go to your site is most of the buildings are about the size of a garage and dont represent the size buildings they are looking for I think if they saw some of the kitbashes in the blog pages it would quickly change there minds Thom belongs to most of the forums and I think if he were to start a thread on one of them PAPER AND CARD MODELS FOR MODEL RAILROADS where people could see and post photos of card builds and updated with photos from the blog pages it would go a long way toward sales of your products This is just something to think about Good Luck at TrainFest and please say Hello to John Kosma for me Thanks

I'm under the impression that Thom is already doing things like that, or has in the past and may not currently be doing it. Have you been telling the people you talk to to specifically scan through the blog pages. When you say the size of a garage, I take that to mean about 22' wide x 25' deep. I think only our garage kits are that size. Most of our buildings are larger than that. Some MUCH larger. If they want buildings bigger, they will just have to spend hundreds of dollars to get something from China, made of plastic. We make kits the size we make them and if that's not good enough, Oh well...

Thom and I have both started threads on some of the forums but with little follow up I have showed structures I have kitbashed like the Mine and a number of others I have even offered some of my bashes as gifts But they are not up to the standards set by your kits and Thom thought it might give people the wrong impression of your products So I only share my buildings with a few loyal paper modelers I have met through your blog and discussion pages This was not a complaint I enjoy comming up with new and different models with your products and find it a very interesting way to pass the time and in no way want you to change your format The only thing I would like to see is your kits offered in both O and HO scales There are a number of modelers who dont understand paper models that if it is not marked as a HO scale kit wont buy it because they dont understand rescaleing process Sometimes you and Thom are very thin skined about your product and I understand why you have spent the last decade developing a product only to see it copied by every Tom Dick and Harry with a little bit of computer skills jump on the band wagon and this must be very frustraiting But using the parts in your kits can provide the modeler with anything from a small shed to a large warehouse and it is this limitless kitbashing that I want to point out to the public
