A while ago we were talking about Kit Bashing.

We had an interesting discussion recently about what people were doing with our materials, other than just building the kits.  With all the excitement with Trainfest, these pictures got lost in the shuffle, but what Dave Rarig is doing here, really shows how you can re-use, re-design, re-purpose, re-color or re-whatever with Clever Models materials.  Dave took a old N scale, plastic kit and completely changed it’s functionality.  I think it really looks so much better than the original.  It even looks more scale.  As usual, GREAT JOB Dave.

Notice I also used Clever Models industrial windows placed over the kit plastic window frames on the main building - 100% improvement. The silos on the back side of the building are adding machine paper cores about 7/8" diameter covered with N scale Clever texture paper red ceramic brick, they look very realistic.
