Very good job, Dan. N-scale I assume....getting harder for me as the arthritis is getting worse. Looks like you scored the siding lines to make it stand out?
No, I didn't score the siding, it just looks really nice in this photo. I modified the kit to use the shiplap... I'm not sure why. I guess I just like shiplap.
I laminated the walls in three layers -- exterior print, black cardstock, interior print because I wanted to add an LED lamp, and I didn't want it shining through the paper.
I also put a papercraft dollhouse desk (reduced down to 1/87) and put it inside so it really looks like somebody's office.
View of the floor before I assembled the walls. The pot-bellied stove is just a stack of holes punched out of black museum board and cardstock. I didn't need anything fancy, because you can't really see it through the windows. But if it weren't there at all, it would have bugged me, because the roof has that chimney.

The interior walls come with the kit. IIRC, they are based on the Studs & Plywood texture.
