I have to say, Clevermodels kits are hands down the most photo-realistic and detailed cardstock models on the market today, bar none.
I couldn't be happier with the models I have - and I have most of them, having purchased the Brick, Wood, and Steel industrial buildings collections, as well as the 1st Street and Waterfront collections, and both Texture collections.
The only constructive criticism I can give here, is that the photographs of the models on the website aren't the best, and I was initially put off of a few of the kits due to the quality of the photographs on the website.
Since getting said models as part of the collections I purchased, I have to say that the photographs on the site don't do the models themselves the justice they deserve.
If anyone who might read this is on the fence about purchasing a particular kit due to the photographs, I'd recommend going for it, and I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised by just how excellent the quality of the models really is. :)
Thanks,
Dan
Thank you for your solid review. we will try to be better. I assure everyone that the quality of our kits will always be the best. we never skimp on that part of the work.
Thanks for the fast response. If my own model building skills were up to the task, I'd be happy to photograph whatever kits I've currently built as my camera is surprisingly good for a smartphone cam.
Perhaps you could add a link on the page for each model that takes you to a gallery of customer builds of that specific kit - that way people can get a broader idea of what they are getting for their money - anything that helps you guys sell more kits, right?
I'm hoping next up to get Central Camera built - including the extra pages without the signage to allow for extra floors to the building, that Dave was so kind to whip up for me.
Once it's built, I'll try and get some high quality photos taken for you to add to the gallery, if that would be something you'd be interested in?
Thanks,
Dan
