Bob Bruce sends this hotel kit bashed from parts. I’m doing something very similar but I like what Bob’s done here.  Can you tell us more about whats here Bob?

As promised, here are a couple of pix of the finished Union Hotel kit to be released soon. His exceptionally detailed build thread is available here. J&RG Facebook page.

Even though the kits are computer designed, builds like this, help us identify problems before they reach the market place. You might remember the go round over window and shutter  placement. We did decide to deviate from the original Harry Brunk drawings.

The results, thanks to Jim’s work, are fantastic.

Congratulations due

A bit late perhaps but some times folks don’t share the news and I have to stumble on it.

Congratulation are due however to Jim Allen for his HOn30 hopper car for its 2nd place win last February at the Fox Vally Division model contest. You can see the stiff compitition he was up against here.
