O.K. Back to KITBASHING

Here are some pix sent to us from the UK by David Charlesworth.  The layout is called SIMPLETON HALT and is in 09 scale, which I believe is using what we would call N gauge track.  If I guess right, I think this is our equivalent of HOn30.  Please forgive me David, if I’m wrong.  I espically like the little green engine, which I think is from our Critters & Cars DVD.  In any event, David has done a fantastic job of modeling.  Thank you for the pictures.

Fire station kit bash

Once again a kit bash improves on reality.  Bob Bruce took the newly released fire house and made a few minor changes completely blowing my mind.  He did a back date on the doors and windows (I’m working on an update that will be available soon and free.)

Enjoy the pix.

A while ago we were talking about Kit Bashing.

We had an interesting discussion recently about what people were doing with our materials, other than just building the kits.  With all the excitement with Trainfest, these pictures got lost in the shuffle, but what Dave Rarig is doing here, really shows how you can re-use, re-design, re-purpose, re-color or re-whatever with Clever Models materials.  Dave took a old N scale, plastic kit and completely changed it’s functionality.  I think it really looks so much better than the original.  It even looks more scale.  As usual, GREAT JOB Dave.

DVD SALE!

As I mentioned in my previous post, we are having a DVD sale.  This is to make things fair for those who couldn’t make it to Trainfest, where we had a BLOWOUT sale of 50% off on most DVDs.

So, till Sunday night about midnight, the price on all DVDs is 50% off.  DVDs ONLY!  There will be other sales for different items coming in the near future.  This one is DVDs ONLY!  The new prices are marked on the pages where you click to order the DVD.

If you don’t know where that is,  on any page, click the orange button that is labeled “GET DVDs/Collections”.  This will take you to a page where you can click on individual buttons that call up the contents of each disc and add to cart buttons.
