Didn't plan on it, BUT!!! another FREEBIE.

I really didn’t plan on another rolling stock download, but I wanted to gauge how much interest there would be for individual downloadable files of rolling stock.  This flatcar is pretty much the basis for all of our cars.  It’s incorporated, in one form or another, in out tank car, hopper cars, gons and boxcars.  As with all our cars, in HO it uses re-gauged Blackstone trucks or in O a modified Bachman chassis.  If I can find the reference, earlier in the blog, I’ll point you to a Shapeways frame for the HOn30 version.  If we do bring these out as individual downloads, I’m thinking of about $3.00 each.  What do you think?

Something new in FREEBIES

Had a couple of calls recently, wanting to know if we were ever going to make the rolling stock available as individual downloads.  I said something like “You never know, but we had no immediate plans to do so.”

So I thought I’d put up a freebie to see if anyone was interested.  The Hon30 version works well with regauged Blackstone trucks.  The On30 version can be mounted on a (very) modified Bachman frame.  HOn30 shown with truck mounted KD 1015 couplers.

NEW FREEBIE ANNOUNCEMENT

Many of you have been asking and I finally got it done.  I just loaded, on the FREEBIES page, a current catalog of all the TEXTURES available for download.  That’s one more item off my check list.

I’ve also put up a cross reference list of what kits are on what DVD.  You might find it useful.  It is an MS EXCEL spreadsheet.  It is accurate, even though some of the discs are not available yet.  It’s not that we don’t have the discs, it’s just that I’m having a hard time making them available in a new way of displaying them.  I’m getting closer.  If there’s something you want and don’t see it on any of the disc pages, email me at <mize1@sbcglobal.net>
