Finishing the hotel and the lighthouses

After dinner boredom sets in. It’s too cold to go out so I got back to work.

the lighthouses are very near completion. I will say that even though they are similar in design the O and HO versions are very different in proportion.

The hotel is also complete but for the exterior fire escape railings and the side building. I am planning to have both of these complete by the weekend. (I’ll post some rough pix as well)

Chama is down to the fiddely bits. I may be asking folks to do some bent wire for the skip tracks. Thats whats holding me up.

Jim, Chama is scheduled for release at Springfield so you will be seeing it late December.

The hotel and the light houses are finished. on to test building.
The light houses are still a bit troublesome, not that there is anything outright wrong but I had to make a lot of concessions due to scale. The O and HO versions are very different in proportion. Also the lamp house might be too challenging if you decide to build it with a visible interior. It can be built opaque with a simulated glass reflection (much easier but possibly unsatisfying for the more detail minded.

The hotel on the other hand is a total winner.
